Amanda is a masters-level therapist who specializes in trauma and attachment. Amanda has experience with children, teens, and adults. Her professional background is in school social work and community mental health. She has spent several years working with at-risk youth, as well as families who have experienced trauma and disruption. Amanda is passionate about incorporating holistic methods such as art, music, movement, and mindfulness into healing. 


Amanda attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she received a bachelors in social work. She went on to earn a masters degree in social work from Simmons College in Boston. Amanda is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Tennessee. 

Savannah is a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation in the state of Tennessee.  She graduated from The University of Memphis with her undergraduate degree in psychology and her master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling.

Savannah began working in the mental health field in 2008 and has a variety of experience in both inpatient, intensive outpatient, residential, and acute care settings.  She has worked with clients ranging from ages thirteen to late adulthood. She has a great deal of experience working with patients with dual diagnosis, and a wealth of knowledge on topics such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, co-dependence, trauma, stress management, life transitions, and anger management.

Jennifer has over 14 years’ experience within the mental health field working with children, adolescents, and adults, providing case management, individual, family and group therapy. Her professional experience includes working with at-risk and under-served youth as a foster care worker, mentor and advocate; providing clinical interventions to children and adolescents exhibiting significant emotional and behavioral disturbances; supplying trauma focused counseling to child sexual abuse victims, providing behavior-based therapy to children on the autism spectrum, providing psychoeducational group therapy, and creating, developing and growing a successful private practice.


Jennifer attended the University of Memphis, where she received a bachelors in Psychology, and attended Freed Hardeman University to earn her masters degree in Mental Health Counseling.  Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee and Mississippi.

Janeé is a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation who has over ten years of experience working in the mental health field.  She graduated from Argosy University Nashville with a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. 


Janeé has worked in both the non-profit industry and community mental health field, garnering significant experience and training.  Janeé has worked with clients ranging from ages five to late adulthood with various diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and bi-polar disorders. Her positive, calm demeanor is a wonderful balm for those going through a difficult time in their lives.  Janeè strives to bring an effective blend of experience, concern and action to the counseling process as a means to promote healing.

Martha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Tennessee.  Graduating with her Masters in Social Work from the University of Arkansas, Martha has 27 years of experience as a Social Worker and Therapist.


Throughout her 27 years, she has skillfully worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds, within inpatient and outpatient environments. Areas of interest to Martha include substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions. Martha finds value in providing compassion, empathy and acceptance to and for her clients.

Savannah believes in using a person-centered approach that heavily focuses on one’s core values. Her frequently used modalities include motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and rational emotive behavioral therapy. Her positive, patient, and empathic character help aid in creating a safe space in letting one start the healing process. She is available to provide therapy for clients ages 13 and older for individual therapy and Savannah is looking forward to leading a postpartum group in the near future.

Debra is a licensed professional counselor/mental health service provider in the state of Tennessee, as well as holding a national certification of CRC-Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.  Debra received Private Practice Counselor of the Year award in 2011 from West TN Counseling Association.

Debra attended The University of Memphis, receiving both a Master of Science in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  In November 2017, she received her Death and Grief studies certification from The Center for Loss and Colorado State University. Debra is currently working towards an additional Masters degree in Thanotology!

Amanda's primary approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and centered on the healing power of relationships. Amanda is trained in several therapeutic approaches--including cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. Amanda is also an adoption-competent therapist, who is specially trained to work with therapeutic issues in the adoption/foster care triad. Like us all here at FFC, Amanda is LGBTQ friendly.  She is available to provide therapy for children, teens, young adults, and families, and offers weekend sessions.

Ferren Family Counseling LLC

Debra has been providing counseling services for over a decade.  Through comprehensive training and education, Debra has specialized in a number of areas, including mood disorders, relationship issues, trauma/PTSD, substance abuse, eating disorders and grief, and has extensive training and certification in Gottman, EMDR and Death & Grief Studies. She is especially drawn to working with clients processing grief/ loss and utilizes person-centered acceptance as a means to heal. She is available to provide therapy to clients ages 18+.
