Novia is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Tennessee. Novia achieved her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Auburn University of Montgomery. She also obtained a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Alabama. Novia is an Alabama native who moved to Memphis 5 years ago to pursue her professional career in counseling.

Novia has experience working with adolescents and teens (ages 12-17), adults, couples, and families. She enjoys helping clients process through depression, anxiety, stress management, obsessive-compulsive disorder, self-esteem issues, caregiver roles, anger management, familial issues, and life transitions. Novia offers an eclectic approach to therapy as she understands that everyone needs something different and there is no one size fits all approach to therapy. She has experience in CBT, DBT, ACT, TFCBT, and Solutions-Based Focused treatment modalities. Novia also offers faith-based counseling to those interested.
